Do you wish to know more about the discussion forum in NOUN? Well, you are at the right place.
The discussion forum is one important feature among others found in the TMA PORTAL. The National Open University of Nigeria has made it compulsory for all students to be active in this forum.
WHAT IS THE DISCUSSION FORUM IN NOUN?
The discussion forum in NOUN is one among several other features that can be found in the National Open University of Nigeria TMA PORTAL.
It is mandatory that all registered students for the semester must partake in the discussion forum before access to TMA’s will be granted.

HOW DO I USE THE DISCUSSION FORUM
To use the discussion forum in NOUN, kindly bear in mind the following;
First, you must be a registered student for the semester in question.
Secondly, you need to have registered COURSES and EXAM for the semester in question.
Thirdly, you must have an activate your NOUN student email. This does not directly affect your access to the discussion forum, it does affect directly your access to the TMA portal itself.
If all the above are done. Head over to the TMA PORTAL (CLICK HERE)
In the TMA portal find your courses using the menu button on the top left-hand corner.
You will find a drop-down of all your courses.
Start with one of them, by clicking the course.
In the course, navigate your way to the 4th or 5th paragraph as this differs by course outlay.
As soon as you find it, click DISCUSSION FORUM
In the forum, you will find the topic for discussion, read and understand the question, and click on REPLY to add your discussion.
I have also made a video tutorial explaining this process in detail. Find the access below.
